Jens Juul
1st Prize was awarded to Jens Juul from Denmark for his black and white photo series ’Six degrees of Copenhagen’, which is located somewhere between documentation and artistic portraits and impresses due to its simultaneous harshness and vulnerability.
Camille Gharbi
Joint 2nd Prize was awarded to Camille Gharbi from France for her conceptual work ‘Proofs of love’ that addresses the topic of femicide and violence against women in their partnerships.
Dirk Hardy
Joint 2nd Prize was awarded to Dirk Hardy from the Netherlands, who creates detailed whimsical, life-size, fictional portraits in the form of contemporary tableaux vivants under the title ‘Vivarium'.
Kristina Varaksina
3rd Prize was awarded to Kristina Varaksina from the UK for her carefully designed portraits of women, which illuminate the female psyche and pose questions of beauty, self-perception and self-discovery.
Richard Tuschman
The People's Choice Award was awarded to Richard Tuschman from the US for a meticulously staged series with which he portrays memories of his childhood and also honours his mother and his deceased wife.
Calogero Cammalleri
The One Shot Award was awarded to Calogero Cammalleri from Italy, for a timeless black & white portrait.
