BBA 360 FAQ
How many artworks can I submit to BBA 360?
Your entry fee of 29€ covers the submission of up to 5 distinct artworks (or images). This allows you to showcase a cohesive series or a diverse range of your creative vision. However, you can easily increase your chances of being selected directly within the BBA App, where you have the flexibility to purchase additional credits to add more images to strengthen your submission.
What art mediums are accepted, and are there any size limits?
BBA 360 is designed to make exhibiting easier, by skipping physical borders: no shipping costs, and no size limits limitations. We welcome any form of visual art or photography (paintings, digital art, drawings, textile art, mixed media, etc), with the exception of video.
What are the image size and file requirements for the application?
For the BBA 360, you can upload up to 5 images in JPG, PNG, or HEIC format. Each individual file must not exceed 3MB. Please note that this 3MB file is strictly for the jury selection phase so our team can easily review your entry. If your work is selected for the shortlist, we will request a higher-resolution file for the 360 Online Exhibition.
If I am selected, what can the BBA 360 Award do for my career?
BBA 360 acts as a massive global launchpad. If you are one of the 15 selected artists, your work will be featured in a curated Online Group Show hosted on BBA Website, the world’s leading online art marketplace. This grants you unlimited global visitors and visibility to international collectors. Additionally, you will receive extensive promotion through BBA’s newsletters and social channels, building the professional profile and momentum needed to apply for our major physical gallery prizes.
What is the difference between BBA 360 and the Artist or Photography Prize?
Think of BBA 360 as an borderless, digital entry point into the BBA community. While our main Artist and Photography Prizes culminate in a physical exhibition in Berlin and require physical artwork shipping, BBA 360 is a 100% digital, interactive global showcase. Tough winning the 1st prize of BBA 360 actually bridges this gap by awarding you a cash prize, an Artsy profile, and an entry into a physical group exhibition at BBA Gallery in Berlin.

Yes! To help you submit your best artworks, you can choose to book a 30-minute 1-to-1 consultation with our team. Where we will audit your portfolio and provide expert guidance on which shot aligns perfectly with our jury's expectations.
Can I apply if I have no formal background or exhibition history?
Absolutely. BBA 360 is open to all artists and photographers over the age of 18, regardless of your educational background or career stage. The directors look purely for storytelling, visual concepts, creative ideas, and artistic sensibility. Your CV is simply a tool for us to understand the context of your creative practice.
