Description
Now in its 7th year, the BBA Artist Prize honors emerging artists. Together with an international jury, Berlin-based BBA selected 25 artists whose works were in a joint exhibition in the Kühlhaus Berlin. On 4th June at 20:00 the jury announced the four winners. The first prize winner will receive a solo exhibition in the BBA Gallery.
1st Prize was awarded to Katarina Kudelova from France for her explosive work which explore questions relating to life and death, destiny, and fragility.
2nd Prize was awarded to Yuqian Sun from the UK. Her digital work studies the interaction between AI and humans.
3rd Prize was awarded to Juheon Cho from Germany. Her carefully designed art and sculptures bring back the memories of places, people, and events.
The Audience Award was awarded to Marek Kozera from Poland. His meticulously staged series explores a new theme of “Thing-beyond-thingness”.
