Artist Prize 2018

About the 2018 edition

Now in its 3rd year, the BBA Artist Prize honours talented artists. The Artist Prize series provides a stage for up-and-coming artists of all ages. This year’s 4 shortlisted positions vary from large-scale dark atmospheric paintings (Hoff) over science fiction video installations explicitly featuring female heroines (Schönefeld) to minimalistic anthropomorphically shaped sculptures (Searle) and interventive installations making use of everyday objects (Vionnet). The prize for all shortlisted artists in 2018 was Artsy promotion for one year.
