The winter 2023 edition of the One Shot Award was jointly won by Yixuan Bai, from China with ‘The Lovers’’ and UK-based Kristina Varaksina with her photograph titled ‘Self Portrait During War’. 10 other photographers were shortlisted and exhibited at BBA alongside 50 international lens-based media practitioners, whose works were displayed on a beautiful large digital display.
