Anyone 18+ can apply - all gender identities and nationalities welcome.
Only one photograph per entry. We accept pure lens-based, mobile or smartphone camera, AI, film, digital, analogue photography.
No restrictions. Any skill level, theme, medium and subject welcome.
About the One Shot Award
The BBA One Shot Award is back again but this year, it’s diversified. For the first time ever, we are awarding prizes in 2 different categories. The first category is an open category that welcomes all styles and mediums of photography. The second category is for AI imagery. You will be asked to indicate which category you are applying for in your application form. The 2 winners from these categories will be selected on the Awards Night at the One Shot Award group exhibition and will receive a prize of 250€ each.
50 image-makers from each of the 2 categories (100 total) will be selected to exhibit at a group exhibition at BBA Gallery, Berlin in August 2024 on a large digital display.
5 image-makers from the 2 categories (10 total) will be selected to exhibit in print form at the group exhibition at BBA Gallery in August 2024.
From the photographers selected to exhibit in print form, one winner will be selected from each category. The 2 winners will receive 250€ each and online promotion.
What we’re looking for
Storytelling, visual concept, creative idea, composition, abstraction and artistic sensibilities are just some of the qualities we value. It does not matter what prior photography experience you have, everyone has a unique creative vision, and we want to see your story and your medium.
